THANK JESUS

I make a point of thanking Jesus every day for what He did on the Cross. I try to change the prayer around, so I’m not repeating the same phrases, but there are no words to adequately express my gratitude. I praise Him for coming down here and putting up with me. I bless Him for paying my sin debt. I thank Him with all of my heart, strength, and being for my salvation and the precious Holy Spirit. He is my only hope.

On Passover, I thought about what that day must have been like for Him. I thought about Him at the Last Supper and washing their feet. I thought about Him praying in the garden Thursday night and Friday morning before they came for Him. It breaks my heart that He had to go through all of this, but I don’t think He wants me to feel sorrow. That was a horrible week, but Sunday started a new one, and a new era for mankind. Praise God for His wisdom!

The Resurrection didn’t make Jesus the Son of God, it revealed that He truly was God’s Son. In His humanity, Jesus is the seed of David by way of Mary. He is virgin-born. He is the risen One. When He rose from the dead, it clearly proved everything that He had been saying. Jesus is God-man. He is proof that God loves mankind and has made a way to save us.

The message of the Cross is clearly stated in the 15th chapter of 1 Corinthians. Jesus appeared to over 500 people after His resurrection. Evidence proves that the witnesses are telling us the truth. What God did for mankind has the power to transform lives. Jesus Christ gave His life for us, so we could have eternal redemption. Praise Him for doing it and especially for finishing it.

Dear Reader, I’m a witness to you. God is real. God is very good. He cares about all of your problems. He wants you to pray about everything. Talk to Him. Be honest with Him. Trust that His will has your best interests at heart. He has a reason for EVERYTHING that He allows in your life.

March had some faith-testing times for me. Job 13:15 “Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Nevertheless, I will argue my ways before Him.” I trust Him and I argue my ways before Him. God bless you and give you peace, dear Reader.
